Since most of us are in ASU's CS programs, I'm sure you're all focused on *nix systems.
The first Camp last April was very informative. Select just the topics that interest you.
Presently I show talks on OpenGL graphics, jquery for webforms, and intro to Objective C into for anyone wanting to develop on mac/iphone/ipad, plus many others. The last camp had 30 or 40 different lectures.
If your interested in some newer programming topics, Chandler Gilber Community College is hosting a second Desert Code Camp on Saturday the 5th of November. It's an all day, multi-track event with FREE breakfast and lunch.
